The inside of a comic book is JUST as important as the cover, sometimes even more so. The first time Wolverine showed up, he had a crazy costume, but the way he was written, the character was fun, and became one of Marvels most important heroes ever!

 At ComicsDAO, we want to be able to read it! That’s why we scan each of the books we get to allow the community to read them all. This lets us enjoy the story, as well as the art as it was originally intended.

 Did you know most reprints have been recoloured, and some redrawn? Imagine being one of the few people in the world able to see the original. It’s like the Louvre hanging a poster of the Mona Lisa and telling everyone that should be good enough! We want the real thing.

 At ComicsDAO, we have access to the means of looking inside a comic book without opening it. In partnership we will be the only company currently able to do so. It’s a complicated system that has a simple result. 

 Using rays we are able to get details about the inside pages, even when in a container. We then run it through a program, using another page that we have scanned as a template page. The end result is a new page that is a replica of the inside page from the book we own! In this way we can create a scan of the inside pages without actually opening the book itself, or risking damage in any way!

 Collectibles have almost become currency in our world, worth millions and hoarded like previous gems. They’re not currency. They are art! Art must be enjoyed and shared to thrive.
